. Each month serious fiction writers are welcome to write a short story in the thriller, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, horror and/or contemporary fiction genres and to make it available for others in the group to read. Her philosophy is to write what you know and to use your own natural writer’s voice. Schuldt encourages writers to read each other’s stories and provide helpful feedback. Short stories are usually due on the 25th of each month. Voting is available during the last five or six days of the month. Winners are announced on the 1st day of the month.
