Kannapolis Arts wants to welcome artists Michael and Marcela Galloway, with eArtesan.com, to the April 25 Kaleidoscope Cultural Arts Festival in downtown Kannapolis on West Avenue. The festival runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25.

“eArtesan.com was founded to share with you a little about the culture of South America and to provide a market for the ‘artesanías’ of this region.,” according to their website. “Our goal is to not only provide you with a selection of unique hand made items, but also to help give these artisans a larger market for their works at fair prices. ”
“We work as closely as we can with artisans and artisan cooperatives to ensure the authenticity and quality of the product as well as to see that the actual artisans benefit from their crafts. At this time we are focusing on Bolivia, which is Marcela’s native country. ”
“In the future we would like to expand to represent ‘artesanías’ from other South American countries as well. So please, take a few minutes to look around, learn a little about the culture, perhaps buy something that catches your eye and please let us know any questions, comments or suggestions that you may have.”
