The Travers Brothership is an Asheville based funk band that will perform from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 and the Kaleidoscope Cultural Arts Festival in downtown Kannapolis. The festival is free and the Travers Brothership will perform at the corner of West Avenue and West 1st Street, Kannapolis.

BookArt by Hope to attend September festival

The Kannapolis Arts crew would like to welcome artist Hope Holmes to the September 27 Kaleidoscope Cultural Arts Festival in downtown Kannapolis.

“Hope Holmes is a self-made artist whose experience includes the crafting of her own toys at the age of six. In addition, to homemade toys, she enjoyed an unconventional childhood in Stratford, Connecticut, as well as short stints abroad in Germany and the U.K. Holmes now resides in small town North Carolina where she creates her up-cycled art at a hectic, but leisurely pace.”
